Floppin Flounder 5K

The Floppin’ Flounder Run and Walk is a beloved event in Charleston, organized by the Charleston Running Club with assistance from the Sullivan’s Island Fire & Rescue Dept. Offering both a running and walking option, participants receive a t-shirt and finishers medal. Proceeds support local charities, including the Fire & Rescue department. Awards are given to the top finishers in overall and age categories. The Peyton Moore award honors the fastest boy and girl under 12. The event occurs regardless of weather, urging participants to stay hydrated. Sponsorship opportunities are available to promote businesses while supporting a good cause.
