The Delta Chicken Run is an annual community event benefiting the Delta Parks and Delta High School Track/Cross Country Team. Originating in the early 1970s by Dave Mason, it is a part of the Delta Community Chicken Festival. The event is timed and features awards for the overall male and female participants.
