Day of the Tread

Day of the Tread is a family-oriented, Halloween and Day of the Dead themed charitable cycling event held in Albuquerque’s Sawmill District and Old Town. The event features a variety of road and gravel bike rides, including options for families and experienced cyclists. Participants enjoy themed recharge zones, entertainment, costume contests with prizes, and a post-ride celebration at Sawmill Market. The event supports the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation’s Adaptive Cycling Team and other New Mexico children and family charities. All riders receive a T-shirt, and support services such as SAG and ride marshals are provided. Costumes are encouraged.
