Start your race with a refreshing swim in the clear waters of Blackpool Sands, known for its calm conditions. Then, transition to the out-and-back bike ride via Slapton, taking advantage of Devon’s flattest road for a fast and steady cycling section. Finally, wrap up with the out-and-back run along Blackpool Valley Road, a peaceful route alongside a stream, gently rising to the turn. With a second ‘bike drop’ transition, the course eliminates unnecessary road crossings, ensuring smooth transitions and an efficient layout.
