Cincinnati Black Men's Wellness Day 5K

The African American Male Wellness Agency organizes a 5K Walk & Run event in various cities to raise awareness about the health disparities affecting Black men, who have a shorter life expectancy compared to their white counterparts. This event, which attracts over 100,000 participants annually, offers free health screenings and promotes preventive healthcare by checking for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, HIV, STDs, and prostate cancer. The initiative encourages participants to be aware of their health numbers, engage in physical activity, and schedule regular doctor visits, aiming to improve the overall health and longevity of Black men.
