Cherry Blossom Challenge

 

 

Race again for a $20 discount.Entry includes USA Cycling and NJBA surcharges.Juniors are $20. Use the code BBJR2024. (Do not use it if you're not a junior - you won't like what happens.) No late fee for Juniors registering same day.Field limits:  Cat 4/5: 75 riders, all other fields 110 riders.No Category 5 riders in Masters events.Promoters reserve the right to combine categories.No limits on team sizes.Registration opens at 6:00 am.There will be a $10 late fee for same day registration.

Course: A flat, 2.2 mile course with one corner. For those of you that have raced at Branch Brook in the past this is the short course and the same course used for the spring series.

From the Garden State Parkway North: take exit 148 onto John F. Kennedy Drive North.  Make a right onto Franklin Street for about 1 mile.  Franklin Street becomes Heller when you cross the railroad tracks.   Make either the first or second right after Heller splits, go to the end of the block, and you’ll see the registration area.

 

From the Garden State Parkway South: Take exit 148 and make the second left at the light onto Franklin Street.  Follow the directions from Franklin street as written above.

From Newark Penn Station: Make a right on Raymond Plaza West and a left onto Raymond Boulevard.  Go four blocks and make a right on Broad Street.  Follow Broad Street for ½ mile and make a left on Bloomfield Place.  Bear Right onto Bloomfield Avenue and follow Bloomfield Avenue ½ mile into the park.
