Charlevoix Marathon
About the event
Held each June in a picturesque Lake Michigan town, the Charlevoix Marathon is a USATF-certified, Boston Qualifier that blends small-town charm with a professionally executed race experience. The flat, fast course features miles of scenic lakefront, wooded bridges, and historic neighbourhoods. Starting and finishing on Bridge Street—where the town’s drawbridge lifts every 30 minutes—the event delivers a unique atmosphere energized by local support, waterfront views, and cool northern weather. With around 3,000 participants, it strikes the perfect balance between excitement and breathing room. A welcoming expo at Bridge Park, just steps from the marina, and easy access to the start line make race day smooth and unforgettable.
