NEW FOR 2025: CANDY STRIPE CLASSIC IS DOMESTIC THIS YEAR. THIS RACE IS NOT LIMITED TO COLLEGIATE RACERS ONLY, LIKE YEARS PRIOR.

NEW FOR 2025: WE ARE HOSTING A SUNDAY CRITERIUM. CANDY STRIPE CLASSIC IS A 2 DAY EVENT.

NEW FOR 2025: NEUTRAL SUPPORT PROVIDED BOTH DAYS BY BLOOMINGTON BICYCLES

SUNDAY: The Criterium is a 0.5 mile loop in the Purple Lot located at the Football stadium. This is the most northwestern lot in the athletics facilities parking lots. We are excited to bring back the criterium after 3 years. The route is attached below. Plenty of parking available on the inside and outside of the course.

SATURDAY: The Road Race is a 14 Mile loop of fast descents and gradual climbs featuring Bean Blossom Hill: a 1.4 mile climb, averaging 4% gradient, peaking at 14%. Bib numbers will be placed on low back and right side for the road race. Yellow line rule will be strictly enforced. Feeding zone will be near the top of the climb on Bean Blossom Rd. before turning L on to Forest Rd. While no follow vehicles will be allowed, the Cycling Club at Indiana University will have volunteers placed throughout the course with radios to assist riders if need be. Parking will be available north of the park entrance on either side of old 37. Team bus parking will be available near the start/finish as marked.
