**Challenge Yourself with the Canals & Lakes Century Ride**Gear up for the ultimate test of endurance and scenery in Schuylerville, NY, with the Canals & Lakes Century. Presented by Adirondack Ultra Cycling, this event is part of the ADIRONDACK ULTRA CHALLENGE, offering routes for both seasoned athletes and those looking to push their limits.

Choose between a rigorous 105-mile loop with an elevation gain of 3,772 feet, or test your strength on the hilly yet rewarding 27-mile course with 1,306 feet of elevation gain. Both routes will guide you through the historic landscapes of Saratoga National Historical Park, along the scenic Champlain Canalway Trail, and past the stunning Ballston and Saratoga Lakes. Expect about 5 miles on hard-packed dirt roads, manageable with standard road bike tires.

The adventure begins at the ADIRONDACK ULTRA CYCLING BIKE SHOP on Broad Street, Schuylerville. Familiarize yourself with the start location and check in early to ensure a smooth launch. Remember, timing is recorded "door to door," so every moment counts. Be sure to bring your well-maintained bicycle, a certified helmet, and essential gear such as water bottles, spare tubes, and inflation devices.

The ride is self-supported on the road, with snacks and drinks available at the start and finish. Night riders must adhere to strict lighting and reflective gear requirements to ensure safety. Note that motorized bicycles and pets are not allowed, and all participants under 18 need to be accompanied by a guardian.
