Calarat Challenge Trail Running Festival

The Calarat Challenge Trail Running Festival offers a series of trail races over the Labor Day weekend, hosted at the Cal-Wood Education Center. Participants can engage in various events, including evening runs and morning races. The center, a non-profit organization, provides outdoor education aimed at encouraging appreciation for nature, especially among underrepresented communities. Additional features include lodging, a pasta dinner, and an after-race celebration with food and music. Parents can utilize a supervised Kid Adventure Time Program during the race. Dogs are not allowed, and there are no race refunds.
