Bunyan Battle 5K Run/Walk

The Bunyan Battle 5K Run/Walk takes place at Island Lake State Park in Brighton, MI, bringing together Michigan and Michigan State football fans for a scenic, paved run or walk. Participants are encouraged to wear team gear and compete for overall and age group awards, themed shirts, medals, and free race photos. The event features chip timing, post-race refreshments, and a team challenge where the fastest Michigan and Michigan State runners compete for the Paul Bunyan Trophy, with results tracked annually. All fitness levels are welcome. A State Park pass is required for entry.
