Brave Run -Disco Dash

The Brave Run is more than a race—it's a celebration of athletic spirit and community pride, all with a retro twist. Starting on the Banks High School track, runners head straight through the heart of town before joining the scenic Banks-Vernonia State Trail. Whether you're tackling the 5K or 10K, the out-and-back route offers a mix of small-town charm and lush Oregon forest. Disco-themed costumes are encouraged, and the event includes awards not just for speed, but also for creativity. From the high-energy Kids Dash to virtual participation options, the Brave Run welcomes runners of all levels. Proceeds support the Banks High School Parent’s Association, funding athletic programs and student scholarships.
