Astana Half Marathon

The Astana Half Marathon is Kazakhstan’s premier road race in the capital, combining fast, certified routes with stunning urban architecture. Set against the futuristic skyline of Astana, the course begins at Independence Square and takes runners past iconic landmarks such as the Nur Alem Sphere, Baiterek Monument, Palace of Independence, and the lush Botanical Garden. The event offers multiple race formats including a half marathon (21.1 km), 10 km, Nordic walking, and the Ekiden relay, which requires mixed-gender teams.
