Asbury Park Sheehan Classic 5K

The Shore Athletic Club hosts the Asbury Park George Sheehan Classic 5K, featuring a flat, fast USATF certified course culminating on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. The event includes a 5K run, kids' races with various suggested distances, and offers awards for top overall finishers and age groups. Special team competitions are available, with categories for men's, women's, masters, and co-ed teams. Additional awards include gift certificates for top local finishers and a raffle. Proceeds support the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth County. Participants receive tie-dye shirts, with the first 1,000 also receiving drink tickets.
